The 7 Movements
Brace

This was a Level 0 Brace which is evaluated within a 60 second hold. An average of 17% improvement across the board within 12 months of development.
Rotate
brace
This was a Level 0 Rotate which was evaluated by the client standing in front of a vertical line on the wall and reaching around for it. An average of 8% improvement across the board within 12 months of development
Push Up
brace
This was a Level 0 Push Up which is evaluated by completing 3 full range push ups. An average of 11% improvement across the board within 12 months of development.
Hinge

This was a Level 0 Hinge which is evaluated 3 full range hinges. An average of 13% improvement across the board within 12 months.
Squat
brace
This was a Level 0 Squat which is evaluated by completing 3 full range squats. An average of 12% improvement across the board within 12 months of development.
Pull Up

This was a Level 0 Pull Up which is evaluated by completing 3 full pull ups with knees bent. An average of 11% improvement across the board within 12 months of development.
Lunge

This was a Level 0 Lunge which is evaluated by completing 3 forward and back lunges. An average of 9% improvement across the board within 12 months of development.
Current Statistics taken from over 5,000 Assessments

The Brace was completed successfully by an average of 17% over the year with the exception of Year 4, this may have been due to their lack of exposure to the Movement Breaks program which was deliberately done for research purposes. Yellow line above was the Term 1 assessment and Green line is Term 4 assessment.

The Rotate was completed successfully by an average of 8% over the year with the exception of Year 4 and Prep, this may have been due to their lack of exposure to the Movement Breaks program which was deliberately done for research purposes. Prep classes continued the year with the PMP program. Yellow line above was the Term 1 assessment and Green line is Term 4 assessment.

The Pull Up was completed successfully by an average of 11% over the year with the exception of Year 4, this may have been due to their lack of exposure to the Movement Breaks program which was deliberately done for research purposes. We found that Year 1 children struggled with this movement. Yellow line above was the Term 1 assessment and Green line is Term 4 assessment.

The Lunge was completed successfully by an average of 9% over the year with the exception of Year 4, Year 1 and Prep, this may have been due to Year 4’s lack of exposure to the Movement Breaks program which was deliberately done for research purposes. We found that Year 1 children struggled with this movement the most, mainly due to a lack of balance. Yellow line above was the Term 1 assessment and Green line is Term 4 assessment.

What we see above here is 12 months intervention from the research we conducted which includes around 2500 assessments in 1 year. The results tell us that the 7 Moves program is a great resource for movement development. Years 3,4,5 and 6 all moved to Level 1 7 Moves in 2015 due to their successful completion of the program in 2014.
